Homemade Granola
This is a quick, stovetop granola that makes for a great quick breakfast.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 drops vanilla
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup other grains and nuts
- Chocolate chips or fruit, optional
Instructions
Toast oats, grains, and nuts in a dry pan over medium heat, stirring so they don’t burn. Melt butter over medium heat. Add sugar and stir until melted and bubbly. Add vanilla. Stir in oats, grains, and nuts. Pour onto waxed or parchment paper. Add fruit or chocolate if desired. Let cool and enjoy.
